Il intervient lorsqu&rsquo;un salari\u00e9 n\u2019a pas les capacit\u00e9s d\u2019ex\u00e9cuter correctement son travail (cass. soc. 23 mai 2000, n\u00b0&nbsp;<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/rfsocial.grouperf.com\/lien_spad\/?base=JURI&amp;orig=REVUE_RF_FH&amp;juridiction=CASS&amp;chambre=SOC.&amp;numero=98-42064&amp;sp=\/juri\/cass\/global\/sociale\/JURI\/TEXT\/00\/00\/07\/04\/22\/JURITEXT000007042207.xml&amp;date=2000-05-23\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">98-42064<\/a>, BC V n\u00b0 194).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour \u00eatre en mesure de proc\u00e9der \u00e0 un licenciement pour insuffisance professionnelle, l\u2019employeur doit avoir assur\u00e9 l&rsquo;adaptation du salari\u00e9 \u00e0 son poste de travail, au regard notamment de l&rsquo;\u00e9volution des emplois, des technologies et des organisations (c. trav.&nbsp;<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/rfsocial.grouperf.com\/lien_spad\/?base=LEGI&amp;orig=REVUE_RF_FH&amp;code=LEGITEXT000006072050&amp;numero=L6321-1&amp;idspad=LEGIARTI000049049416\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">art. L. 6321-1<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Et cette formation doit \u00eatre suffisante pour permettre au salari\u00e9 d&rsquo;exercer ses fonctions (cass. soc. 29 novembre 2007, n\u00b0&nbsp;<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/rfsocial.grouperf.com\/lien_spad\/?base=JURI&amp;orig=REVUE_RF_FH&amp;juridiction=CASS&amp;chambre=SOC.&amp;numero=05-42004&amp;sp=\/juri\/inca\/global\/sociale\/JURI\/TEXT\/00\/00\/17\/73\/90\/JURITEXT000017739064.xml&amp;date=2007-11-29\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">05-42004<\/a>&nbsp;D).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En tout \u00e9tat de cause, pour \u00eatre fond\u00e9, le licenciement d\u2019un salari\u00e9 pour insuffisance professionnelle doit reposer sur une base s\u00e9rieuse, objective, circonstanci\u00e9e et v\u00e9rifiable.
